GLOBAL VILLAGE TEAMS
HFH Ghana remains one of the preferred destinations for Global Village Teams in Africa and the Middle East. There are numerous success stories and rich experiences associated with virtually every team that opts for Ghana. Each Global village team whether from the USA, the Netherlands, Canada, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Great Britain, Australia or from any other parts of the world come with their own unique character. So do the many communities we serve/work in partnership with have varying treats that they give to the delight of the GV teams that they host. The African warmth with which Teams are welcomed and received is beyond compare!
Experiences from GV Team Members may be summed up as: generally exciting, challenging but rewarding, an amazing and unforgettable experience, and an eye opener.
We operate a uniquely balanced itinerary between Work and cultural activities that dazzle a visitor. Most evenings have varying cultural activities arranged for volunteers who are also given the opportunity to showcase some bit of their culture. If the attention from the Habitat staff and volunteers is not enough, probably the faces of happy kids in our communities will compensate for every volunteer’s happiness, and a feeling of being at home.
