Diana Asante-Addai

(37 years old) and husband Charles (40 years old) have one child, Kofi Asante-Mensah (15 years old). They previously rented a smaller, crowded house with no kitchen.

There was no toilet so they had to use gutters. Sanitation was the reason why they were willing to work for a Habitat house. They found out about Habitat through their in-laws, and by coming to weekly Habitat homeowner meetings. They love their Habitat house and don’t plan to leave it.
