Esi Bempomaah
Esi Bempomaah Esi Bempomaah, 61, is shown here with three of her grandchildren. She lived with her 4 children and 7 grandchildren in one room in her mother's family house.
In total, they were about 60 people of different generations living in the family house. "Overcrowding was a major problem", she recounts. Now a Habitat homeowner, Esi and her family now have a spacious and decent home for themselves.
