Akua Henewaa is a 29 year old farmer who lives in the Kofiase community. She is married to 40 year old John Gyasi also a famer. They have 5 children; Benjamin (5), Isaac (14), Janet (8) (, Dorcas (5) and Grace (3).The couple lived in a mud house where they shared one room with their children, and kept all other belongings such as utensils, food crops, water for bathing (kept in big buckets), etc. The mud house had to be renovated every year. ... more
